Southern Cayuga School District:  There were 31 houses sold. The Median House Sold price was $198,500, selling for $111.02 per square foot. This area houses move slower than in Ithaca Market, but homes that have been prepped for sale and priced correctly sell faster.  Southern Cayuga Central Schools system includes the Village of Aurora, Town of Genoa, King Ferry, some of Locke, Scipio & Venice. Lansing is a popular area, the closer you are to Ithaca (where many jobs are) the more buyers you will attract. It is a walkable village, with a school, markets, gas stations, library, state park and much more. There are also houses outisde the village area. It is a walkable village, with a school, markets, gas stations, library and much more. It has it’s own electric company.  There are also houses outside the village. Dryden School District:   There were 92 houses sold. The Median House Sold price was $175,950, selling for $102.99 per square foot. Dryden is directly to the east of Ithaca borders Cornell University. It has a walkable village, with a markets, gas stations, library, restaurants and more.  Being close to Cornell, makes the housing market move quicker. Trumansburg Central School District:   There were 80 houses sold. The Median House Sold price was $192,00 selling for $120.75 per square foot. Trumansburg is directly to the northwest of Ithaca. It is on the same side as the hospital. It is a walkable village, with a markets, restaurants, retails on Main Street, golf course and more.  It is about 15-20 minutes to and the housing market moved quicker in 2018.
